the kates were back, once again, making with the jokes and the pics in Lincoln Square. Haven't seen them in action yet? What the heck are you doing with your lives?!

I am 35 days into The 100 Day Project and I am loving the challenge. When I started I kept the theme pretty loose. I called it #100DaysofColor, with the anticipation of taking photos, coloring, maybe doodling...etc. So far it has mostly been finding color with the camera! Here are a few pics.
Swung over to South Bend, Indiana with Amy Sumpter to sling jokes at The Drop Comedy Club. We had a blast with those jokers! On our off time Amy and I walked about Notre Dame and I grabbed some pics. We also did some fun on SnapChat! Follow me there if you want (mostly I'm just buses and trains and cars...fun!)
Took my camera around town for the day (and night) looking for pops of color in the big city. #the100dayproject continues
Friday the 13th was meant for yucks! the kates hosted a night of storytelling, and a few stand-up acts at their home base at The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square. the kates also held their first ever comedy lotto, and two kates attending the show were pulled up to make with the funny!
I hung out at the Elks Club in Brookfield with a bunch of dang jokers! Thanks Mike for booking me, thanks Brookfield for being so welcoming and thanks Ben for taking snaps of my face while I spit on the mic!
A bit of a lighter house but they were still MIGHTY, proving that kates fans are the DANG BEST! Photos by Denise Medina
More info coming soon. Make sure to check out thekates.org for the upcoming news. Also, use Johnny Knight, Chicago. He's the best!
Another excellent night of comedy in Lincoln Square. Photos by Alexandra Tsarpalas (and a few sneaky shots by Kelsie Huff)
