the kates turned nine years old and we had our first collaboration show with The Comedy Bowl at Diversey River Bowl. Most of the pics by Alexandra Tsarpalas. Loads of comedy, cake, dancing, goodie bags, lip synch...holy cow...some many kates! (But we missed Elizabeth Gomez!)

Patrick, Rachel and Curtis were cool enough to let Scott Duff and I swing by the Laugh Factory and yell into a camera for a few hours. Be on the look out for some loud the kates on broadway and ChiGAYgo promo videos, coming soon!
The first You Joke Like a Girl open mic and showcase at Volumes Book Cafe was a dang blast! So many Fem Com grads in the house.
My super cool sister took most of these pics, which was very nice of her. However, I forgot to tell her that the site doesn't love "hot dog" style photos. I kept them anyway, sorry for the wonkiness!
The Go Go Show (a five year, all female comedy variety show) hosted its final event of the season last weekend. Featuring these excellent weirdos!
New fans, new kates and loads of laughs this summer in Lincoln Square! For more info on the kates check out thekates.org
First of all, holy crap-o-la is Second City's Training Center different! Granted there was fire. I'm not dumb, I expected the walls to be shifted around. But holy hell! There were menus, with SHRIMP options. I remember when I couldn't get a bag of Fritos from the Donny's Skybox box office when I was a student. (Says the old hag!) Any who, that's not the point of this post. This post is to showcase the pics from The Squad's show. Here you go. Fun time, Fun gals, Funny AF! Also, I miss the wigs that dominate sketch. There are not enough wigs in stand-up.
the kates were back, once again, making with the jokes and the pics in Lincoln Square. Haven't seen them in action yet? What the heck are you doing with your lives?!
